A must if you're in George. Absolutely great coffee that is roasted right there in the shop. They specialize in African beans and they make their own blends. The place has a relaxed vibe and feels open with spaces to sit and work.

My favorite coffee shop in George. The staff is allways friendly and the service is great. I LOVE their cheescake. This is the perfect spot to meet a friend for great coffee. I also buy my freshly roated beans here :D

Root café at Wellington Square is our favourite coffee shop. We've been visiting them for the past 3 years, and they never disappoint. Their regular size cappuccino is the BEST, and their cakes and sandwiches are amazing!

Lovely cosy setting with a fireplace. Tastefully decorated - I love how they upcycled their coffeebean bags! They roast their coffee on location, which is fantastic. I did not enjoy my flat white particularly - it lacked flavour - maybe it was just a bad brew. Nevertheless, I absolutely loved the yummy amsterdamer and Apple crumble muffin.
